Servers - we are still in desperate need for more servers at the 9.30 Sung Eucharist.  Please do try it!  Have a word with Fr. Neil if you are interested

Cards for Good Causes is now back in the lead up to Christmas.  Please do pay them a visit at St John’s between Monday-Saturday, 9.30-4.30 or Sunday 10 – 4.

Calendars are now available for purchase for the coming year.  Please do see Len Marshall or John Mitchell if you would like one (or more).

Bible Study – our last session finishes this Tuesday with the final chapter of the book of Ruth.  Bible Study will resume at the beginning of February when we begin looking at Paul’s letter to the Ephesians

Big Church Clean – on Saturday 18th December we are having a big clean of the church before the trees are decorated and the Christmas flowers are arranged.  We need your help to make the church look great as we prepare for Christmas!  Bring a duster or two and we will supply the coffee and mince pies! 

Advent Collection for Foodbank Christmas Hampers.  Foodbank are hoping to provide Christmas hampers but are in need of some items.  It would be good if we can help.  They need the following items: Small Christmas Pudding, Tin Salmon, Small packets Christmas biscuits, Mince pies, Dream topping/ Angel Delight/ Trifle Mix, Mayonnaise/ Salad Cream, Savoury items eg Pringles, Ritz Crackers, Cheesy snacks, Jam.  Please do bring items along on the 12th

Diaries for the coming year are now available at the back of Church. If you would like one please do take one. 

Prayer Corner is now on the south side of the church.  It is a place where people, both visitors and parishioners, may come and leave a prayer request.  The prayers are then gathered and taken to the altar during the Sung Eucharist each week.
