Director of MusicOur Director of Music is Michael Kee, a teacher and musician who joined our choir in spring 2011 with his wife Avril and became our Director of Music in September, succeeding Anthony Wilson who left for a teaching post in London. Michael would be glad to hear from anyone thinking of joining the choir, especially tenors and young trebles! 
The ChoirThe choir currently consists of around 20 singers of all ages. Over the last couple of years, the repertoire has increased considerably and the choir is developing a higher profile within church life and the town. There has been considerable growth of the social side of the choir and musical activities are expanding all the time with concerts and cathedral visits organised for the first time in many years. Choral evensong is now sung on the second Sunday of most months. A series of recitals in the summers of 2009 - 2011 raised money for the All Saints' Music Fund. These will continue in future years. Anyone interested in joining the choir or keeping in touch with progress should contact one of the present members or visit on a Friday evening between 18:45 and 19:45 when the choir meets in church.
